I have another David Lebovitz book on my bookshelf, "Ready for Dessert - My Best Recipes".
Who doesn't love a juicy burger with tasty toppings? They're really quick and easy to make at home and they definitely taste better than a fast food burger! You can even make them into a relatively healthy and balanced meal.
I make my burger patties without egg or bread crumbs but with a generous helping of fresh herbs.

This August Daring Baker challenge was set by a good friend of mine, Lisa, and myself! We challenged the Daring Bakers to a month of candy making. We tempered chocolate and used it to make delicious treats, there were also non chocolate candies like paté de fruit and honeycomb.
The August 2011 Daring Bakers’ Challenge was hosted by Lisa of Parsley, Sage, Desserts and Line Drive and Mandy of What the Fruitcake?!. These two sugar mavens challenged us to make sinfully delicious candies! This was a special challenge for the Daring Bakers because the good folks athttp://www.chocoley.com offered an amazing prize for the winner of the most creative and delicious candy!
